Craig West

Craig is the Programmes Director for National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain overseeing all Orchestra activities, the equity programme NYO Inspire and the open-access programme NYO Open. Craig leads on artistic and educational direction, music education partnerships and safeguarding policy. Craig has developed programmes and activities for deeper learning with a particular interest in leadership, creativity and innovation through orchestral music.

 

Before joining NYO Craig worked in the professional orchestra sector with roles at Academy of St Martin in the Fields, Sage Gateshead and Royal Northern Sinfonia and more recently as General Manager of National Symphony Orchestra of Ireland and London Sinfonietta.
